LinkedIn Releases Embedded Job Applications For Companies

LinkedIn launched the much anticipated customizable plug-ins. They provide companies with the ability to add Member Profiles, Company Info, and the LinkedIn share button to websites. In addition, LinkedIn is rolling out a major plug-in to companies—Apply With LinkedIn.

The new plug-in (initial details on the feature were originally revealed by GigaOm in June), allows companies to put an “Apply with LinkedIn” button to any company website.

Like other plug-ins, companies can customize the look and feel of the “Apply with LinkedIn” module to keep consistency with branding. Managing submissions is done by sending applications to an email address or even a web app for applying for a job. The plug-in only requires a small snippet of code to embed on a site.
